Catching Up

It's been a while since I have posted anything, sorry. This weekend was busy, as usual. We leave for Virginia early Tuesday morning. It will be really fun for the kids to spend Halloween with their cousins and grandparents.
Great news this past week, Nicole was selected as Student of the Week and Kristian was selected at Student of the Month. Nicole received a homework pass for a week's worth of homework. Kristian was invited to the main office, where he and the other honorees selected a donut of their choice - YUM! Kristian loves sweets.

Erika is learning to enjoy her crib. She really likes the mobile.

Elise being silly. She likes to sit in any box type thing.

Nicole singing on her stage (her bed) in her PJ's before bed. What you don't see is Elise standing on the floor with her own microphone, singing.

Nicole and I went the Highschool Musical on Ice show on Saturday. It was really fun! We were there with her friends Madelyn and Jenna; and Jenna's Mom - Ann.

Eleanor and Elise two year photos

To the right is the link to view the photos taken of Elise and Eleanor.
The first photo with the black background looks a little spooky, like Children of the Corn.

The Girls

Last night ended with a bang. Elise slipped on the hardwood floor while dancing to music and hit her eye on her juice cup. There is a small cut on the outer crease of the eye. It bled for for a long time. Jacci and I did our best at cleaning and icing it. Elise kept saying "all done, all done" because she didn't want to be touched.
After a long night, Jacci and I decided to chill out today. We took the girls to the park and watched them play while we enjoyed our ToGo sandwiches.
Tomorrow we will be toddler free for a few hours. I have a friend watching Elise and Eleanor so Jacci and I can escape for some shopping. YA!!!!!

Erika liked the fresh air and cool breeze

Smiling, even with the swollen eye

It's blurry, but you can still see how bad the injury is. The spot on the right is dried blood.

Great time!

It has been a little crazy these past two days, but we are having a lot of fun. I am going to nominate Jacci for "Sister of the Year". After two very short nights of sleep, she allowed me the luxury of sleeping in until 10:30 today! Then she made me breakfast! It was really nice. Elise and Eleanor had fun playing in the bed while Jacci and I were getting ready to leave. We went to Costco, and made it home without any drama - miracle. Both E's are very strong willed and loud.
Mom- below are some photos of Lancaster, from my trip there in February.

Here it is!

Finally, I am getting this blog up and going. I don't have much spare time these days, so I will do my best to keep it updated. I am in no way competing with Matt and Jacci, and how wonderful and awesome their blog is!
Speaking of Jacci, she is here in CA with us this week. Ryan is off on his "man vacation" to Hershey, PA for the annual old car swap meet. It is great to have Jacci and Eleanor here. Elise and her cousin are very cute together. They are also little monsters.
Today we had photos taken of Eleanor and Elise together. We did the same thing last year when they turned one. We hope to make this an annual event. Mom (Granny) loves it! I will attach the website for you all to have access to the cute photos.
Gotta go feed the baby! Enjoy the photos!
